friends amp broken.

hey my friend owns the2466/mtching cab.hes owned it now for couple months but on the way up to his practice today he never tied the head down and it flipped over and slid a bit.the amp turns on ok but there no sound coming out.any advice would be appreciated as he has a gig this weekend.

If all the preamp and power amp tubes light up it might be a fuse. There are spare fuses in a little plastic compartment under where the power cable plugs into ur head. If the tubes r busted get em replaced by a tech, he can also check if there is anything else broken in there.

I would make sure all the tubes are fully in their respective sockets along with checking the fuses.
Also check the effects loop switch, if it is engaged with nothing in the loop you will have no output.

There is a spare mains fuse in the integrated fuse drawer in the mains socket. The one closest to you when you pull the drawer out is the spare.

Not true, the signal will still pass through a switching jack in the FX return socket. Wink

If the HT fuse was blown the amp would still power on.
